PP

Description

​

PP, polypropylene, is an economic resin with good impact resistance according to the grades; PP homopolymer can be fragile at low temperatures, while copolymers are more resistant to impacts. PP is wear resistant, flexible and can resist a very high elongation before breaking. Furthermore, it is resistant to acid and basic substances.

Applications

It is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide range of applications, from packaging to textiles, stationery, various types of reusable containers, laboratory equipment, loudspeakers and automotive components.
