PBAT
Description
The PBAT, polybutylene adipate terephthalate, is a compostable and biodegradable polymer used mainly in the film process.
One of the most interesting characteristics of this material is the possibility to optain it from both organic and fossil sources. Therefore, the supply of industrial quantities is always guaranteed according to market needs.
It has the following certificates: Vincotte, Ok compost and BPI and FDA.
Some of the most important features and properties of the PBAT are:
-
Good binding properties;
-
Good insulator;
-
High flexibility and resistance;
-
It can be customized;
-
It complies with UNI EN 13432: 2002 (relating to packaging) and UNI EN 14995: 2006.

POM
Description
POM, polyoxymethylene, is characterized by high tenacity, rigidity, hardness and strength. This polymer has good lubricating properties, resistance to hydrocarbons and organic solvents. It also has good elasticity and is slippery, so it is suitable for gears and bearing surfaces. It also resists low temperatures down to -40 ° C. POM is opaque white, but can be made in all colors thanks to the addition of pigments. The material is widely used in the automotive industry and consumer electronics. Furthermore, it has been used in the production of modular belts and is suitable for transport with high loads.
